Responsibilities:

·          Provide technical expertise & recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives

·          Investigate and resolve application functionality issues

·          Coordinate application development

·          Troubleshooting software application issues and identify modifications requirement

·          Manage outsource relationship for 3rd party application development and programming consultants

·          Assist with application installation and testing

·          Analyze data and identify data integrity issues

·          Provide assistance and advice to business users

·          Provide software programming for in-house IT projects

·          Provide SQL administration in live and test environments

·          Documents technical procedures and documentations (including user guide, etc)

Requirements

·          Tertiary qualification in computer science or related field

·          Experience: At least 4 - 6 years experience in SME or Enterprise environment

·          Proven technical skills covering database infrastructure, DR, EDI development and Report writing. 

·          Good background in Database design in Microsoft SQL and Access.

·          Working knowledge on Oracle 9i, 10g or 11g databases, PL/SQL will be an advantage.

·          Significant ETL experience

·          Understanding of XML, IBM Websphere interfacing and MQ Architecture

·          Worked on Oracle reporting, Crystal (Business Objects) reports, etc.

·          Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills. 

·          Strong project management skills.
